Health Event M&W

Men and Women's Health Event

We are pleased to invite patients to our Men’s and Women’s Health Event on Wednesday 18 March, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the practice.

The event is an opportunity to learn more about your health and wellbeing, speak with members of our healthcare team, and access helpful information and support. Patients can receive a Mini Health MOT, take part in an informal “Tea with a GP” session, and get help with booking appointments, checking test results, and accessing online services.

You will also have the chance to meet our Social Prescriber and other members of the practice team. Interpreter services and health information in different languages will be available.

There will be informative discussions on men’s and women’s health, including breast and cervical cancer, mental health, and prostate cancer.

Patients who are due an NHS Health Check will receive a text message invitation to book an appointment. Please note that an NHS Health Check is different from a Mini Health MOT and takes around 30 minutes to complete.

CARERS CAFE

Cantab Primary Care Network (PCN) was awarded seed funding from Cambridgeshire County Council to support the establishment and running of the Carers Cafes.

These cafes provide a welcoming and supportive space for carers and their cared for, to connect, relax and participate in a variety of activities designed to promote wellbeing.

Attendance at all Carers Cafes is completely FREE and there is no charge to take part in any of the activties offered.

This initiative aims to ensure that carers in the community have accessible opportunities to find support, share experinces, and take a well-deserved break.
