Midwife

Midwives are specialists in maternity care (the care of pregnant women). They look after you for all pregnancy-related care from your first pregnancy test, during delivery and in the first few weeks after the birth of the baby.

The patients at our surgery are looked after by a team of midwives who work from Children's Centres and occasionally see patients in the surgery.  They can be contacted at the Cambridge Children's Centre on 01223 586787.

Newly pregnant women should contact the community maternity services midwife team as soon as their home pregnancy test is positive on 01223 348981.

Further maternity information is available from the Rosie Hospital and patients can self refer for midwifery services through CUH and a member of the area midwifery team will get in touch.
